For the most part, I translated pretty literally, so it's kind of unnatural.

Mami: Hey, Shoko.
Shoko: What is it?
Mami: Won't you go to a movie with me?
Shoko: A movie? When?
Mami: This Sunday.
Shoko: Sorry, I have to go to my friend's ceremony.
Mami: A ceremony? What's that for?
Shoko: It's like a recital for the wind instrument club/department.
Mami: ehhhh, I don't really know about that stuff.
Shoko: Oh, really?
Mami: Did you play something?
Shoko: I played Oboe in middle school.
Mami: Oboe? What's that like?
Shoko: It's not a flute.
Mami: Oh, it's not a flute.
Shoko: You'll get to hear it soon.
Hey, why don't you go with me?
Do you like classical music and the like?
Mami: Not really.
Shoko: Really? ... Well, if you move the movie to next week, I can go with you.
Mami: But then I'd have a lot of free time, so maybe I'll just invite someone else.
Shoko: Really? Well, we'll have to see a different one next time.
Mami: Yeah, let's do that.

Here's my rough stabb at this little challenge.  I tried to be "femine" in my translation but that was a bit tricky...At any rate, I don't translate word for word but the general idea, i.e., HIMA=free time but in the context here it is more like "I'll be bored out of my mind" or "I'll have WAY too much time on my hands." Something like that...oh well...thatnks for the little challenge Chaz.

M:  Hey Shoko....
S:  Yeah?
M:  Feel like going to a movie?
S:  Movie???
M:  yeah....
S:  When?
M:  This Sunday!
S:  THIS SUNDAY??!!!
M:  Damn, I gotta go to my friend's ceremony
S:  Really?
M:  Yeah, what sort of thing is it?
S:  Kind of like a brassband recital...
M:  Oh ok... Never heard of such a thing....
S:  No WAY! Are you serious?
M:  yep, not a clue girl.
S:  oh ok...
M:  Did you used to do something like that? (brassband)
S:  I used to play oboe in middle school.
M:  OBOE? what is that?
S:  ...It's not a recorder
M:  OH NOT a recorder?! It's REALLY...(cut-off)
S:  It's not a recorder girl....I'll let you hear next time ok! Hey we should go TOGETHER!!
M:  Oh girl..I don't know about that...
S:  Do you like classical music and stuff?
M:  ...Don't care for it all that much( not into it that much)
S:  Hey if you move it to next week I'll be able to go!
M:  Ah girl I'll be bored(lit. free) I think I'll invite another friend or something
S:  ReallY???!!
M:  well in that case, let go see A DIFFERENT movie next time OK??!!
S:  sure!
M: yep, sounds good.
